Gardiner Artwalks are back! There are three upcoming Artwalks scheduled this year, on  May 19th, August 18th, and October 20th, from 5-8pm.  The walks take place on the third Friday of the month and will feature art in exhibition spaces and open studios.  If you are an artist or musician interested in participating, or would like to be added to the mailing or email list, contact Sarah at (207) 712-9734 or girlh2o@gwi.net

Next Artwalk May 19th 2006

The May 19th 2006 Artwalk map and poster are currently being printed. The postcards are done and available for pick up from Sarah at the ARTDOGS studios or the A1 To Go cafe (A1 on Wed or Fri evenings 3-7)

If you are an artist wishing to participate in the Artwalks you can still be included, but you will not be listed on the map or in poster or the postcard for May.

To be a part of Artwalk Gardiner:

Be a visual artist (Painting, drawing, potter/ceramic, photography, sculpture, digital media, etc...)

Live in the greater Gardiner area (which includes some surrounding towns) call for more details.

Have a body of work to show.

Pay $25 toward publicity costs (checks made out to Artwalk Gardiner and mail to Helene Farrar at 277 Water St., Gardiner, 04345)

Participate in the Artwalk, which includes setup before and take down of your work after the event.

There are Artwalk meetings which participants are encouraged to attend but not required to. There are usually one or two of these in the month(s) before each Artwalk.

Postcards for May 19th Artwalk:

Can be picked up from Artdogs (ring main bell) or from Sarah at the A1 to Go,  Wed or Fri evenings (3-7).  If you want more than 50, we will have leftovers so PLEASE take them and distribute.
